Who will play/voice the lead?
Rumor has it that the lead role in Lobo could be played by comic book movie and voice-over veteran, Clancy Brown. Brown voiced Lex Luthor in Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, Justice League, Superman, and The Batman (where he also voiced Mister Freeze), and also did voice-over work in the animated X-Men and Wolverine projects, among others. He also played The Krugan in Highlander and has also had roles in The Shawshank Redemption, Starship Troopers, and several other films. The feeling is that the movie will either be in all CG, or use a suit with some CG, so a big star isn't necessary (similar to Ron Perlman playing the lead in the Hellboy movies).

I can see it. He's an imposing enough figure, and he's definitely got the voice acting skills for the job.

this is brilliant, ive been waiting for clancy brown to get a big major role ever since carnivale. Hopefully this will do for him what hellboy did for pearlman.
